MORERA PELL, S.L. in collaboration with LEATHER QUIMICA, S.L.U, has developed a new collagen stabilization system, which allows the lowering of the leathers before tanning. This results in a reduction free of chromium or other pre-tanning substances, which makes it suitable for use in other industries.

The project is promoted within the framework of the InnoEmpresa 2011 grants by the ACC1Ó organization of the Generalitat de Catalunya and has been carried out in the facilities of the LEITAT Technology Center in Igualada.
